Benjamin Goforth Sistare

Benjamin Goforth Sistare, age 91 of Katherine Ave. Kings Mountain, NC died Tuesday, September 22, 2015, at Carolinas Medical Center in Kings Mountain.

A memorial service will be 3:00 p.m., Friday, September 25, 2015 at M.L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home, Clover, SC. Inurnment will be Oakdale Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Sistare was born December 2, 1923 to the late James and Ida Veree Goforth Sistare. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. Mr. Sistare preceded in death by a daughter, Connie Sizemore. 

Survivors are his wife, Mary Margaret Elizabeth Ray Sistare, daughter, Jill Sistare of Monroe, NC; Son-in-law, Jefferson Ray (Bill) Sizemore, Sr. of Kings Mountain, NC; grandsons, Jefferson Sizemore, Jr. of Gaffney, SC, Brian Sizemore of Kings Mountain, NC and Mark Sizemore of Blacksburg, SC; and ten great grandchildren.
