Billy Joe Estes, Jr.

Billy Joe Estes Jr., 62, of Matthews, NC formerly of Lake Wylie, SC went home to his Lord and Savior on September 17, 2016.

Billy Joe was born Feb. 1, 1954, in Madison TN, the son of Billy Joe Estes Sr. (deceased) and Eva Davis Estes. Billy Joe was employed by Liberty Buick GMC in Matthews, NC. Billy Joe was a 32*Mason and a member of Alpine Lodge #208.  He was a Shriner with Oasis Temple and former President and member of the Red Fez Shrine Club and a successful community servant.

 In addition to his mother, Billy Joe is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Donna Walker Estes; his children, Joey Estes (Mary Beth), Justin Estes (Hallie), Joshua Estes, and Cydney Hudspeth (Daniel); five grandchildren, Eva and Anna Estes, and Cullen, Connor, and Cannon Hudspeth. Also surviving Billy Joe are his sister Jackie Reinert (Tom) and his brothers Steve Estes and Scott Estes (Jamie).Billy Joe is also survived by loving in-laws, nieces, nephews and a host of  longtime friends.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2016, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at ML Ford and Sons Funeral Home, 4820 Charlotte Hwy, Lake Wylie, SC.  A memorial service will be held Friday, September 23, 2016, at 11:00 am at Pleasant Hill Presbyterian Church, 15000 York Road, Charlotte, NC, 28278.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to The Red Fez Shrine Club, 16600 Red Fez Club Rd., Charlotte, NC 28278 or Pleasant Hill Presbyterian Church Building Fund, 15000 York Road, Charlotte, NC 28278.
