Cathy Lewis Groves, 61 of Gastonia, NC died February 2, 2018, at home.

The family will receive friends and family from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, February 5, 2018 at M. L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home, 209 N. Main Street, Clover, SC.

Ms. Groves was born March 26, 1956 in Gastonia, NC to the late Willian Frank and Betty Jo (Deal) Lewis. She was retired from an over 20-year career with Tyco Electronics.

She is survived by her son Christopher William Groves and wife Amy of Verona, NJ; brother Darryl Lewis of Charlotte, NC, niece Alexis Brooke Lewis of Gastonia, NC, and grandchildren Liam and Katheryn Groves.   

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to The Humane Society of Charlotte or The American Cancer Society.
