David Falls

David Bryson Falls, Sr., age 92 of Highway 161 passed away Saturday, October 15, 2016 at White Oak Manor, York,  SC.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Oakdale Presbyterian Church. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 pm  Friday at M. L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home, 209 N. Main St., Clover.

Mr. Falls was born January 7, 1924 in Gaston Co., NC to the late William Howard and Iva Pursley Falls.  He was a graduate of Gastonia High School and retired from Southern Bell.  He grew up on his family’s dairy farm and loved farming, horses and cattle.

He was preceded in death by a sister Lorrenna F. Upchurch and brothers Robert P. Falls and  W. Howard Falls, Jr.

Survivors are his wife of 62 years Rachel Faulkner Falls; sons David B. Falls, Jr. (Kathe) of Baton Rouge, LA, Julian H. Falls (Kimberly) of Alpharetta, GA; sister Nancy Falls Collin of Plattsburg, NY; grandchildren Eric, Ann Marie, Avery, and Isabelle.

Memorials may be made to Oakdale Presbyterian Church, 12585 W. Hwy. 55, Clover, SC 29710.
