Dorothy Eileen Hardesty

Dorothy Eileen Hardesty, 101, a native Washingtonian died peacefully on May 21, 2017 at her home in Lake Wylie, SC surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Hardesty was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church in Annapolis, MD and the West River Yacht Club Buoy Belles.

She was preceded in death by her beloved spouse, William Russell Hardesty and her loving daughter, Margaret Ann Hardesty.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Patricia Lee Tongue, grandchildren: Laura Eileen Hawk, Brian Scott Lehnhard, Sharon Lehnhard Wijnand, Kristen Lee Ray, Amanda Lynn McCauley, ten Great Grandchildren and four Great Great Grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10:30 am, Thursday, June 1 at Fort Lincoln Funeral Home, 3401 Bladensburg Rd., Brentwood, MD. Interment will be in Fort Lincoln Cemetery.
