Grady Howard Beard

Grady Howard Beard, 82 of Blacksburg, SC passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice, Spartanburg, SC.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 10, 2016 at Gloryland Baptist Church, 2785 Legion Road, Smyrna, SC with the Rev. Jeff Gilfillan officiating.  Interment will be in Lakeview Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday at M. L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home, 209 N. Main Street, Clover, SC.

Mr. Beard was born September 11, 1933 in Union, SC to the late Ernest and Ethel Beard.  He was the widower of Geraldine Foster Beard.

He was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Beard.

Survivors are his daughters Jean Biggers, Dianne Drumm, Theresa Good, Karen Gilfillan; sons Terry Beard, Howard Beard, Willie Beard, Michael Beard, Tommy Beard; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
