Harry Lee Winders Jr.,76 of Clover, SC, passed away Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at CaroMont Health, Gastonia, NC

Mr. Winders was born November 1, 1940 in Kings Mountain, NC to the late Harry Lee Winders and Eva Whitener. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran and repaired appliances around the area for many years. He was preceded in death by sister Joyce Janette Winders.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Irene Jones Winders; son James Winders (Esther) of Gastonia, NC; daughter Agnes Elliott of York, SC; sisters Cathey Frye of Clover and Judy McFalls (Dale) of Gastonia, NC; brothers Howard Winders and Allan Whitener both of Clover, SC; grandchildren Casey Winders, Jonsal and Jenna Barrientes, Wesley Brown, Dustin Brown (Amber); and great grandchildren Dace Brown and Delta Brown.    

Funeral service will be 3:00 pm Saturday, September 2, 2017 at Union Road Church of God. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.  Interment will be in Lakeview Memory Gardens, York, SC.
