Jack E Allen

John (Jack) E. Allen, age 88 of Lake Wylie S.C. passed away March 16th, 2017 after an extended illness. He was born July 26th, 1928. He was an active member of All Saints Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife Jeanne Smith Allen, Stepsons Brett and Mark, daughters Barbra (Roger) and Kathleen (Jim), son Thomas (Lisa) and sister Carol. He has 5 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He was the owner/operator of the Lake Wylie Post Office and Jac-Lyn’s Hallmark store. He was very active in the Lake Wylie community.

Funeral Mass will be 9:30 am Friday, March 24, 2017 at All Saints Catholic Church.  The family will friends from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M, Thursday, March 23 at M. L. Ford & Sons Funeral, 4820 Charlotte Hwy., Lake Wylie.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House, P. O. Box 993, Rock Hill, SC  29731 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
