James Dee Garrett

James Dee Garrett, 82, of Smyrna, passed away Thursday, April 28, 2016 at home.

Graveside service will be 2:00 pm on Monday May 2, 2016 at Lakeview Memory Gardens.

Mr. Garrett was born February 19, 1934 in Gaston County, NC to the late Fred Jack and Lorena Mae Ashe Garrett.  He was preceded in death by a son, Terry Lee Garrett and brother, Alvin Garrett.

Survivors are his wife Ann G. Garrett; daughters Patricia Hutson (Ronnie) of Gainesville, TX, Debbie Wilson (Allen) of Gastonia, NC; Atonia Moore (Arthur) of Kings Mountain, NC; son Johnnie Michael Ballew of Smyrna, SC; nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army, 119 Charlotte Avenue, Rock Hill, SC  29732.
