Jane Powell

Jane Powell, 91, of York, SC, passed away Monday, June 12, 2017 at the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House, Rock Hill, SC.

Graveside service will be 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at Lakeview Memory Gardens with the Rev. Bruce Kiser officiating.  The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.

Mrs. Powell was born December 16, 1925 in Decatur, TX to the late Edgar and Anna Thomas Elliott.  She was the widow of Freeland L. Dunker, USAF Pilot, killed in WWII.  She was preceded in death by her brothers, Charles Leland Elliott and Herbert Lorel Elliott, sister, Estelle Elliott Davenport, and nephews Charles Elliott, Byron Elliott, and Jack Davenport.

Survivors are her nephews Steven Elliott (Holly) and Harold Davenport; nieces Linda Elliott Worthington (David) and Carol Crow; grand nephews Michael Worthington (Melissa), Bobby Worthington (Amy), John Elliott (LeAnn), Sam Elliott (Nikki), TC Elliott (Kristina), Kim Pugh, Paul Davenport, Mike Davenport, & Jack Davenport, Jr.

Especially near and dear to her heart were John and LeAnn Elliott and their children (Georgia, Jackson and Charley) as well as Paul Davenport.  Their visits and the children's gifts of refrigerator drawings brought smiles to her face very time.
