Jean (Settlemyre) Biggerstaff

Jean Settlemyre Biggerstaff, 81, of Clover, SC passed away May 14, 2016 at Peak Resources, Gastonia, NC. 
 
Funeral service will be 4:00 pm on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at M.L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home, 209 N. Main Street, Clover, SC with Craig Mayes, Tim Smith, and Rev. Tommy Wilkes officiating.  Burial will be in Lakeview Memory Gardens.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. 

Mrs. Biggerstaff was born February 28, 1935 in York County, SC to the late Walter Elam and Eugenia McClain Settlemyre.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Biggerstaff; son, William Harold “Bill” Biggerstaff, Jr.; brothers, William Barry Settlemyre and Henry Ray Settlemyre; and sister, Dale S. Boone.  Mrs. Biggerstaff was a retired office assistant at Larne Elementary School.

Mrs. Biggerstaff is survived by her daughter-in-law Amy Smith and husband Tim of Shelby, NC; brother Walter “Sonny” Settlemyre and wife Cecil of Clover, SC; and several nieces and nephews.
