Joanne Moses

Joanne Whitworth Moses, 76 of York, SC passed away peacefully into our Saviors arms Thursday, August 18, 2016 at home with her family gathered around her.

Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 22, 2016 at M. L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home, 209 N. Main Street, Clover with the Rev. Rick Russell officiating.  The family will receive friends following the service.

Mrs. Moses was born February 16, 1940 in Clover, SC to the late Frank and Nell Yoder Whitworth.  She was preceded in death by her brother, James Boyce Whitworth and a sister, Alice Madge Cook.

Survivors are her husband of 56 years Sherman M. Moses; daughters Kerry M. Russell (Rick) of Oak Island, NC, Karan M. Robinson (Mark) of Clover, SC; Laurie M. McDonald (Kim), Kristi Moses (Paul White) both of York, SC; son Eddie S. Moses of York, SC; sisters Ruby Holland, Sheila Wallace, Reola Biggers; she was very special to her grandchildren Lindsay Robinson, Megan Robinson, Timothy Miles Russell, Fallon Russell Parvin, Grace M. Dills; great granddaughter Carrianne Russell Parvin; many nieces & nephews; fur babies Gussie & Baby Girl.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to York County Animal Shelter, 716 Justice Blvd. York, SC 29745.
