Joe Corbin

Joe Douglas Corbin, 71, of Rock Hill, SC, passed away November 7, 2017 at Carolinas Medical Center, Charlotte, NC.
 
Funeral service will be 11:00 am on Friday November 10, 2017 at Lake Wylie Christian Assembly with the Rev. Lewis Gunn officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm on Thursday November 9, 2017 at M.L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home, Lake Wylie, SC. Interment will be 3:00 pm on Saturday November 11, 2017 in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Columbus, OH with the Rev. Eugene Speich officiating.
 
Mr. Corbin was born in Columbus, OH on October 20, 1946 to the late Robert H. and Betty Bowen Corbin. He was an US Navy Veteran and a member of Lake Wylie Christian. Mr. Corbin was preceded in death by his daughter, Keli Jo Corbin and brother, Robert Corbin.

He is survived by wife, Linda Sue Blackburn Corbin; two daughters, Tracey Joan Jenkins (Michael) of Lake Wylie, SC and Shawna Brooke Moreno (Marcello) of Clover, SC; two sisters, Sheri Zitzke (Larry) of Simpsonville, SC and Velvet Litton (Richie) of Toledo, OH; brother, Bryan Scott Corbin (Tammy) of Sunbury, OH; four grandchildren, Andrew Blake Conn, Taylor Brooke Moreno, Madison Grace Conn, and Zachary Marcello Moreno.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lake Wylie Christian Assembly, 5766 Charlotte Hwy, Lake Wylie, SC 29710.
