Johnny Jackson Funderburk

Johnny Jackson Funderburk, 89 of Lawrence Rd., passed away Friday, August 21, 2015 at home surrounded by his family.

Funeral service will be 4:00 p.m. Sunday, August 23, 2015 at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Dave Stanford officiating.  Interment will be in Lakeview Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday at the Church.

Mr. Funderburk was born January 17, 1926 in York County, SC to the late William Edgar and Hattie Curry Funderburk.  He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army and was the owner of Jack’s Grocery for many years.

Survivors are his wife Dana Adkins Funderburk; sons Johnny Jackson Funderburk, Jr. (Linda) of Baltimore, MD and Johnny Louis Funderburk of Clover, SC; daughter Linda Myers (Steve) of Clover, SC; step-son Matthew Chrismon (Karen) both of Clover, SC; grandchildren Karen, Kristen, Eric, Danielle, Michelle, Angela, Jennifer, Kathy, Matthew, and Carl; fourteen great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one sister and three brothers.
