Malaki Owen Prescott was born April 6, 2002 in Rock Hill, SC.  He passed away in his home on January 29, 2018.

Malaki was a sophomore at Clover High School.

He is survived by his loving mother, Lynn Jones; brothers Gage Prescott, Corinthian Audray and Cayden Prescott; sister Shalyn Audray; maternal grandmother Debbie Shull; mawmaw Virginia Champion and pawpaw Bob Champion; aunts and uncles, Billy Jones, Jr., Terry Jones, Derrick and Angela Jones, and Ashley Jones; cousins Ethan Ehlinger, Gracie McSwain, Gavin Wilson, Julie Jones, Sean Jones, Dillon Jones, Emily Youngblood, Damian Jones, Chance and Dallon Short and Skylar Redmond, also his best friend Blaise Moses. He was preceded in death by a grandfather, Billy L. Jones, Sr.

Malaki is also survived by his father, Jeffrey Prescott; paternal grandmother Sandra Prescott; aunt and uncles Angie Prescott and Roberts Prescott, Sr. He was preceded in death by his uncle, Nicholas Prescott, Sr.

The family will receive friends and family from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at M. L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home, 209 N. Main Street, Clover, SC.

We will have a Celebration of Life Saturday, February 3, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Kings Mountain Battle Ground.
