Mary Morrow Burdette, 77, of Lake Wylie, SC, passed away Monday, February 5, 2018 at the Asbury Care Center, Charlotte, NC.

A celebration of life will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 17, 2018 at the River Hills Community Church with the Rev. Jason Bryant officiating.  The family will receive friends following the service.

Mrs. Burdette was born October 22, 1940 in Clover, SC to the late Thomas and Maggie Lawson Morrow. She was a proud member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.  She enjoyed playing tennis, was an avid reader, loved to walk and play bridge.  Mrs. Burdette was the widow of Dewitt Lamar Burdette, she was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother.  Her grandchildren were the light of her life.

Mary is survived by her daughter Bridgette Burdette Robb (Brad) of Cornelius, NC; son Brandon Lamar Burdette (Sheila) of Charleston, SC; grandchildren Jordan Lea Burdette, Branson Lamar Burdette, Carter Jackson Burdette and Ethan James Robb; sister Pauline Gilfillan of Clover, SC; and brother Thomas Morrow, Jr. of Clover, SC.
