Mary Jean (Frick) Phelps

Mary Jean (Frick) Phelps of Clover, South Carolina passed away at the age of 80 on Tuesday, September 19th, 2017.

Mary was born April 25th, 1937 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Anna and Emil Frick. She married William Robert Phelps in 1958. She leaves him and six children and spouses; Ann Mckinness, Diane Phelps Simmons (Curt), Michael Phelps, Brian Phelps (Tracy), Christopher Phelps (Carol), and Elizabeth Dukes (Chris) as well as ten grandchildren; Jason, Jess, Casey, Cameron, Carl, Melissa, Christa, Madeline, Eric, Nick and a living brother-in-law and his wife, Don and Kay Phelps.  Mary was predeceased by her sisters Shirley Bremer (Leon) and Irma Garner (Bill), infant sisters Vivian and Shirley, brothers Elmer Fellhauer (Wilma), Herbert Fellhauer (Dorothy), young brother Harlan, sister-in-law and spouse Geraldine and Arthur MacDonald, and nephews Larry Fellhauer and Dana, Ken and Wayne Bremer.  She has many living nieces and nephews and very special friends Gerald and Mary Lou Lentner.

Mary graduated from Arthur Hill High School in 1955.  She was employed at Michigan Bell in their accounting department prior to raising her family. She was a member of Divine Saviour Church in York, SC. 

 A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
