Michael Elliott Mason

Michael Elliott Mason, age 77 of Lake Wylie, SC, passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at home.

Memorial Mass will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday April 29th, at All Saints Catholic Church, Lake Wylie, SC.

Rosary and receiving friends will be 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Friday, April 28th at M.L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home, 4820 Charlotte Hwy., Lake Wylie  

Mr. Mason was born November 11, 1939 in Omaha, Nebraska to the late George Elliott and Jeannette Ruth Mason.  He was an active member and Past President of the River Hills Country Club, served on the River Hills Community Association, and was Past President of the Lake Wylie Civic Association.  Mr. Mason was active in All Saints Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus.  He was a third Order Secular Franciscan of the St. Michael the Archangel Fraternity in Spartanburg.

Mike is survived by his wife Wendy McOmber Mason; daughter Andrea Chew (Sam); sons Brock Mason, Christopher Mason (Allison), Paul Mason (Kimberly); brothers Pat Mason (Judy); James Mason and eight grandchildren.
