Roger Nivens Obituary

Roger Dale Nivens, 67, of Clover, SC, passed away Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Presbyterian Hospital, Charlotte, NC.

Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 19, 2018 at Lakeview Memory Gardens with the Rev. Marcus VanVlake officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the Ladies Parlor at the Bethel Presbyterian Church.

Mr. Nivens was born September 21, 1950 in York, SC to the late William and Margaret Lewis Nivens. He was member of the National Guard.

Roger was preceded in death by a daughter, Jennifer Dale Nivens.

Survivors are his wife Alexis F. Nivens; daughters Tara N. Clark (Justin) of York, SC, Hannah E. Nivens of Charlotte, NC; son Heath A. Nivens (Erica) of Raleigh, NC; sister Kay Nivens (Don) of Clover, SC, Billie Barnes (Butch) of Gastonia, NC; brother Larry Nivens (Trish) of Rock Hill, SC; and grandchildren Ethan & Henry Nivens, Jack Davis, Jayden, Jennings & Lexi Clark.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Bethel Presbyterian Church, 2445 Hwy. 557, Clover, SC 29710.
