Sara Cook Faulkner

Sara C. Faulkner, 88, the wife of Harry A. Faulkner, of 1455 Faulkner Road, died, Friday, February 22, 2013 at home.

A memorial service will be 3:00 p.m. Monday, February 24th at the Clover A.R.P. Church with the Rev. Evan English and Rev. Dr. Guy H. Smith officiating.  The family will receive friends following the service.

Mrs. Faulkner was born November 21, 1924 in the Bethel Community of Clover.  She was the daughter of the late Fred G. and Sally Martin Cook.  She was an active member of the Clover A.R.P. Church and was a retired Home Economics teacher from the Clover School District.  One of her greatest passions was teaching and interacting with her students.
Mrs. Faulkner is preceded in death by five sisters and two brothers.

Survivors are her husband of seventy years, Harry A. Faulkner; son & daughter-in-law Fred B. & Judy Faulkner; daughter & son-in-law Sara F. (Kay) & Glenn Jackson; grandchildren Tammy F. Fickling (Eric), Nicholas G. Jackson (Johanna), and Barry A. Faulkner (Wendy); and seven great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Clover A.R.P. Church Building Fund, 127 Kings Mountain Street, Clover, SC  29710, Interim Hospice, 154 Amendment Avenue, Rock Hill, SC  29732 or a charity of donor’s choice
