Thomas Neil Phillips, Sr.

Thomas Neil Phillips, Sr.. 84, of Clover, passed away October 28, 2017 at Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia, NC.

Funeral service will be 11:00 am, Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at First Baptist Church, Clover, SC with the Rev. David Stanford, Rev. Mike Stafford officiating.   Interment will be private.  The family will receive 9:30 to 11:00 am, Wednesday, in the COAC Building at the church before the service .

Mr. Phillips was born February 9, 1933 in Clover, SC, to the late Tom and Myra Cole Phillips. He was a US Army Veteran and a car dealer in Clover for many years.  He was known as “walking man’s best friend” and loved by everyone.

Tommy is survived by his wife Marguerite Robbins Phillips, children Teresa Bolin Osburn (John) of Clover Ginger Sue Delaney (Mike) of Avon Park, FL, Robin Phillips Moss of Lake Wylie,   Tommy Ray Phillips (Sandy) of Sebring, FL and Thomas Neil Phillips, Jr. (Melissa) of Clover, Caroline L. Walden (Lee) of Clover, nine grandchildren: Katina D. Kramer (Brian), Michael Delaney (Michelle), Tiffany Phillips, Angela M. Fischbach, Tommy R. Phillips (Amber), Ashley Fischbach, Kristin Watkins (Jason), Laurie R. Moss, Nevan E. Phillips and 21 great grandchildren.
