Viola Elizabeth (Meredith) Broom

Viola Elizabeth Meredith Broom, 89, of York, SC passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at White Oak Manor, York, SC.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 19, 2017 at M. L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home, 209 N. Main St., Clover, SC. Interment will be in Woodside Cemetery.  The family will receive friends 1 hour before the service.

Mrs. Broom was born August 22, 1927 in York County, SC to the late Joseph and Alma Allen Meredith.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Burlin T. Broom and son, Burlin W. Broom.

Survivors are her daughters Frankie B. Bolin (Mike), Joanne B. Sexton (Buck) both of Clover, SC; eight grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
