Chester Raymond Ratcliff, Sr., 79, of 3176 McCarter Lane, York, SC, entered into rest on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at Piedmont Medical Center, Rock Hill SC.
All Services will be private.
Mr. Ratcliff was born October 6, 1933 in Triadelphia, WV to the late Orville and Josephine Marie Andrews Ratcliff. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Mr. Ratcliff retired from Valley Camp Coal Company.
He is survived by his wife Nancy Jean Hummel Ratcliff, daughters Diane Lynn Smith of Sharon, SC and Elizabeth Marie Painting of Mineral, VA; sons Chester Raymond Ratcliff, Jr. of St. Pete, FL and Duane Edward Ratcliff of Gastonia, NC; sisters Ann Beabout of Tridelphia, WV and Shirley Baldwin of Clarington, OH; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
