Mr. Joseph “Joe” Edward Coleman, 68, of Clover, SC, passed away Monday, April 1, 2024.
Joe was born October 18, 1955, in Gastonia, NC to Betty Heath Booth and the late Carl Truman Coleman.
A master auto painter by trade, Joe worked at Killian’s Body Shop, Rhyne’s Body Shop, Huffman Corporation, and Earl Tindall Ford over the course of his career. He attended Clover High School.
An avid Harley Davidson enthusiast, Joe built several custom bikes over the years and enjoyed riding as much as he could. He was a cancer survivor who fought with strength and resilience.
Joe is survived by his mother Betty Booth (Walt); brother Randy Coleman (Candis) of Longs, SC; sisters Carla Clarke (Rhett) of Clover, SC and Angela C. Westmoreland (David) of N. Myrtle Beach, SC; nephews Bryan Clarke (Grier) of Clover, SC and Shannon Clarke of Etowah, NC; nieces Brandi Solomon (Josh), Charity Westmoreland of Clover, SC and Cameron Burris (Matt) of Lake Wylie, SC; and great-nieces and nephews Jordan Clarke, Owen Clarke, Eden Clarke, Lyla Clarke, Morgan Berry (Justin), Ben Smith, Pressly Clarke, Porter Quinn, Cooper Burris, Alayna and Jessie Berry. He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Coleman and nephew, Travis Clarke.
Joe will be deeply missed by his family, many treasured friends, and all who knew him. A graveside service will be 3:00 p.m. Friday, April 5, 2024, at Lakeview Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held immediately after the service.
