Carl Silvernail Obituary

Carl William Silvernail died peacefully at home on April 4, 2018 in Indian Land, SC at the age of 84.

Carl is survived by wife Shirley; children, David Silvernail (Terrie) of Maine, NY; Linda Krewson (Bob) of Matthews, NC; Lori Yessa (Mike) of Indian Land, SC; twelve grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, five siblings, and a son, Steven Silvernail.

Carl was born on August 19,1933 in Endicott, NY to Alva and Glenna Silvernail. He was in the air Force and served in the Korean War.  He married Shirley, in 1955. They lived in Missouri for short time. After moving to Endwell, NY worked for Endicott Machine and Tool for 12 years as a machinist, then was employed by IBM for 23 years as an inventory specialist.

Carl enjoyed fishing, racing, and RV traveling after retirement. He was a strong, dependable, loyal, and well-liked individual who loved his family. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Clover, SC.

Memorial service will be 3:00 pm Saturday, April 7, 2018, at First Baptist Church of Clover SC.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 at the church. 

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, 117 S. Main St., Clover, SC 29710.
