He graduated from high school in 2010 and was the quarterback for the Carolina Crusaders football team, a talented athlete and avid hunter. After high school, he attended York Technical College and completed Lineman School. Over the past 6 years, Dalton became a Class A Line Man working for the City of Kings
Mountain and Sumter Utilities. He was proud to be a lineman and passionate about his work. Dalton was known for his captivating smile, his contagious laugh and his out-going personality. He had a heart of gold, was loyal to fault and loved his family and friends dearly. The little boy and young man that so many held in their arms and hearts over the years is now being held in the arms of Jesus.
Dalton is survived by his parents; Dave and Bonita Horne; sister Kristi Horne Castro; brother Thomas Devin Horne and “Nana" Barbara Estes. He also leaves behind 6 nieces and nephews, two uncles, Spencer Horne and Jeff Estes, and many, many friends.
