Dorothy Harrison Obituary

Mrs. Harrison, a resident of Morningside Assisted Living in Rock Hill, SC, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 28, 2019. She was a lifetime resident of Edgemere, MD and moved in 2002 to be with family in the Charlotte - Lake Wylie area.

A celebration of her life will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 7, 2019 at Morningside Assisted Living, 1830 W. Main St., Rock Hill, SC with Pastor Tod Alexander, Good Samaritan Methodist Church, presiding.

Mrs. Harrison was born September 1, 1923 in Baltimore, MD to the late Frank and Emma Brown Stone. She was preceded in death by her first husband Robert M. Jolley, and second husband Robert W. Harrison.

Her loving family consists of daughter Constance (Connie) R. Bishop, Lake Wylie, SC and son Robert (Robin) M. Jolley and wife, Susan, Savannah, GA; two grandchildren, Dorothy Christine Jolley, Decatur, GA and Robert (Bert) Jolley and wife Jasper and two great grandchildren, Archer Robin and August Wolf of Savannah, GA.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to the staff of Morningside for their care, dedication and support, not only for Dot but also for the family. Our family would also like to acknowledge and to offer sincere appreciation to Providence Care Hospice who led Dot and us on this final journey.
