Ed Wooten

Edward Davis Wooten, 69 of Gastonia, NC passed away Thursday, October 5, 2017 at CaroMont Health, Gastonia, NC.

A memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at Flint Groves Baptist Church, 2017 East Ozark Avenue, Gastonia, NC 28054 with the Rev. Ronnie Bower and Rev. Tony Fullbright officiating. Inurnment will be in Lakeview Memory Gardens, York, SC.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Monday at M. L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home, 209 N. Main Street, Clover, SC.

Mr. Wooten was born January 7, 1948 in York, SC to the late George William and Mildred Rebecca Crawford Wooten.  He was a U. S. Army Veteran.

Survivors are his wife Sara Ann Frye Wooten; daughters Karen W. Haney (Grady) of Clover, SC, Donna R. Miller (Jon) of Gastonia, NC and Wanda Steele (William) of Morganton, NC; nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and fury companion Bonnie.
