Eric Tyler McMahon, age 20, of Lake Wylie, went to walk with our God October 3, 2018 in Greenville, SC. God gently placed him with Bob and Amy on July 3, 1998 in Lafayette, IN. He touched the heart of many and had a rambunctious and light hearted way of life. A kindred spirit that will be missed, but never forgotten.
He proudly served and was a veteran of the US Army and played a loving role as a youth leader at his church.
Survivors are his father and step-mother Robert E. McMahon and Karen McMahon of Lake Wylie, mother and step-father Amy Becktel McMahon and Richard Huntley of York, brother Thomas McMahon of Lake Wylie, step-brothers Owen Davis, Daniel Huntley, step-sisters Hannah Huntley and Sarah Huntley. Other survivors include his grandparents, Darryl and Donna Becktel of Indianapolis, IN and James and Nancy McMahon of Murrells Inlet, SC. And, along with his Godparents, Mike and Stacey McMahon, he leaves behind dozens of cousins, aunts and uncles who loved him dearly.
Celebration of Life will be 2 pm, Monday, October 8, 2018 at River Hills Community Church, Lake Wylie, SC. The family will receive friends in the church an hour prior to the service and immediately following the service in the church gathering space.
