Helen Pelonero

Helen DeBosh Pelonero, age 95, of Clover, SC formerly of Phillipsburg, NJ passed away on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at her home.

Celebration of Life will be 5:00 pm on Sunday, June 25, 2017 at New Covenant Church, 631 Efird St, Gastonia, NC. The family will receive friends from 4:30 to 5:00pm on Sunday at the church. Interment will be in St. Phillip & St. James Cemetery, Phillipsburg, NJ, at 11:00 am on Wednesday June 28, 2017.

Mrs. Pelonero was born on March 29, 1922 in Phillipsburg, NJ to the late Samuel DeBosh and Anna Shieb DeBosh.

She was married to the late Salvatore John Pelonero on January 26, 1947. She is survived by five children, Robert Pelonero, Rosemary Rozsak, John Pelonero, Regina Young, and Helen Engel. She has 12 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.

She and her husband Sam were the owners of Sam’s Farm Market in Phillipsburg, NJ for a number of years.  She loved cooking, gardening, crocheting and spending time with her family. Helen had a great love for people and always enjoyed making them laugh.
