James William Bodie, 70, of Clover, SC, passed away Friday, March 2, 2018 at home.

Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at Woodside Cemetery.  The family will receive friends 1hr before the service at M. L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home, 209 N. Main St., Clover, SC.

Mr. Bodie was born July 20, 1947 in Chattanooga, TN to the late David Rufus Bodie, Sr. and Katie Edmunds Bodie.  He was a graduate of Clover High School and Wake Forest University.

Survivors are his brother David Rufus Bodie, Jr. and his wife Susan; niece Kimberly Bodie Blizzard; nephew David Gamble Bodie and his wife Julie all of Charlotte, NC.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 124 Bethel Street, Clover, SC 29710 or Humane Society of York County, 8177 Regent Pkwy, Fort Mill, SC 29715.
