Joe Yancy Killian, 79, of York, SC, passed away Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at home.

Funeral service will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 5th at the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Tommy Wilkes officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1:30 – 3:00 at the Church.  Interment will be in Woodside Cemetery. 

Mr. Killian was born May 16, 1939 in Filbert, SC to the late Robert Alonzo and Iva Belle Sipe Killian. He was a U. S. Army Veteran.   Mr. Killian was a Mason for over 50 years at Clover Alpine Lodge 208 and also a Shriner.  Joe was the former owner and operator of Auto Body Shop in Clover for 29 years and retired to be an avid cattle farmer.  He was preceded in death by a sister, Ann Loftis and a brother, Fred Killian.

Survivors are his wife Darlene “Dolly” Oliver Killian; son Bryan Mathew Killian (Amy) of York, SC; brothers Jerry Killian (Delores), Lewis Killian (Kay), John Killian (Kim); sisters Grace White (Dean), Linda Abernathy (Bobby) all of Clover, SC; and grandchildren Yancy Killian, Andrew Killian, John Avery Killian; Meagan Bolin, Preston Jonas.

Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church, Killian Library Fund,124 Bethel Street, Clover, SC 29710.
