As a new school, we needed to purchase and maintain our commercial washers/dryers and huge ice makers. He was always there when I called him to say we needed his help. I am so sorry to hear of John's passing. I remember what a great asset and leader he was for Pack 119. It was an honor working with him back in the days of our growing group of Cub Scouts. John could always be counted on to help as a den and pack leader, a Pinewood Derby volunteer, a camp volunteer and a "scout wrangler" to help herd 100+ active boys into a room for Pack meetings!
John was a good person and a great dad. He made a difference to many, and in particular, to a good many young men in Scouting. He will be missed.
