John Quinn Hall, Sr.

John Quinn Hall, Sr., 89, of York, SC, passed away Friday, July 14, 2017 at home.

Funeral service will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday, July 16, 2017 at Filbert Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Wallace Tinsley officiating.  Interment will be in Lakeview Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday at the Church.

Mr. Hall was born September 25, 1927 in York SC to the late Martin B. Hall, Sr. and Candace Quinn Hall.  He was a U. S. Army Veteran, an Elder and longtime member of Filbert Presbyterian Church and a Land Surveyor. 

Survivors are his wife Jean Quinn Hall; sons John Q. Hall (Kathy), Robert M. Hall (Susan), William David Hall (Sharon), Daniel D. Hall (Cathy); nineteen grandchildren and thirty-one great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by sisters, Susan H. Mahon and Margaret H. Graves, and brothers Martin B. Hall, Jr. and Daniel R. Hall.
