Mrs. Lydia Elizabeth Wolff Vane, 97, passed away Sunday, September 29, 2019 at Lake Wylie Assisted Living, Lake Wylie, SC.

A memorial service will be held in Lake Wylie at a later date. Inurnment will be in Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, CA.

Mrs. Vane was born April 5, 1922 in Auburn, MI to Michael and Rosalia Katona Wolff.  She was the widow of William E. Vane.  Lydia and her husband were active members at First Baptist Church of Downey in California for many years.

Lydia loved her family and she loved the Lord. She taught pre-schoolers in Sunday School for over 45 years. They loved hearing her sing the hundreds of children's songs she knew.

Survivors are her daughters Patricia K. Tanksley (Robert) of Midwest City, OK; Loreen J. Hall (Earl) of Lake Wylie, SC; grandchildren Matthew Hall, Rosanna Hall, Candice Garza, & Beth Wilson; ten great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law Roselyn Wolff of Houston, TX. In addition, Lydia has four step-grandchildren and three step great-grandchildren.
