Mark Edward Matthews

Mark Edward Matthews age 38, of Lake Wylie, SC died March 1, 2017.  Mark was born October 22, 1978 in Southampton, NY.  

Mark was employed by Belk, Charlotte, NC. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, son, brother and friend. 
 
He is survived by his wife Melissa Struble Matthews, daughter Emily Matthews, son Evan Matthews, parents Terrence E. and Regina B. Matthews, all of Lake Wylie and brother Timothy Matthews of Charlotte, NC.  
 
His life will be celebrated at a Funeral Mass, 11:00 AM, Monday, March 6, 2017 at All Saints Catholic Church, 530 Hwy. 274, Lake Wylie, SC.  Interment will be in River Hills Community Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 2 to 5 PM, Sunday, March 5, at M.L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home, 4820 Charlotte Hwy., Lake Wylie, SC.
 
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Emily and Evan Matthews Educational Fund, 708 Virginia Pine Lane, Lake Wylie, SC 29710.
