Marolyn Jean (Jackson) Robinson

Marolyn Jean Jackson Robinson, 71 of Clover, SC, passed away Monday, January 1, 2018 at CaroMont Health, Gastonia, NC.

Memorial service will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday, January 7, 2018 at the Clover Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Dr. Douglass Key officiating.  The family will receive friends following the service.

Mrs. Robinson was born February 2, 1946 in Rock Hill, SC to the late James Samuel and Hilda Kilpatrick Jackson.  She was a school teacher for many years and was a member of the Clover Presbyterian Church.  She loved to travel whether it was on a bus across the country or a cruise across the ocean. Her favorite past time was going to eat with all of her family and friends.  Marolyn never met a stranger and was loved by many.

Survivors are her daughters Michelle Kingston (Rick) of Charlotte, NC, Stephanie Robinson of Charleston, SC; twin sister Carolyn J. Thomas (Joe) of Clover, SC; grandchildren Josh Kingston & Kai Craine; special niece Kara T. McLeod (Trey), special great niece and nephew Lily and Alex; and other numerous nieces and nephews.
