Mary (Carringer) Rhodes

Mary Carringer Rhodes, 88 of Stanley, NC, passed away November 17, 2017 at Stanley Total Living Center, Stanley, NC.

Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 19, 2017 at First Baptist Church with Steve Myers officiating.  The family will receive friends following the service in the COAC.

Mrs. Rhodes was born July 3, 1929 in Maryville, Tennessee to the late Dolph P. and Ruth Esta Elliott Carringer.   She was preceded in death by her sister Anna Ruth Carringer Blake and brother Walter E. Carringer. 

Survivors are her husband Vernon O. Rhodes; daughters Linda Walker (Jeff) of Clover, SC, Marty Long (John) of Stanley, NC, and Ruth Gaddy of Asheville, NC; son Randy Rhodes of Jamestown, NC; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
