Melissa (Grier) Davis

Melissa Grier Davis of Lake Wylie, SC passed away May 25, 2017 at Carolinas Medical Center, Steele Creek, Charlotte, NC.

Memorial service will be 3:00 p.m. Friday, June 2, 2017 at the River Hills Community Church. The family will receive friends following the service in the gathering space at the church.  

Ms. Davis was born in 1958 in Charlotte, NC.  She was a graduate of Olympic High School and Fashion Institute of America. Ms. Davis spent many years as a devoted stay at home mother raising her daughters and continued to love and cherish her time with her family in the recent years.

Survivors are her daughters Emily Davis Haque (Gibran) of Sugar Land, TX, Whitney Collins Brinly (Steven) of Forest, VA, mother Carolyn C. Powell (Cole) of Clover, SC, grandchildren: Allan, Flavia, and Bain Brinly               and sister Susan Baker (Bruce) of Lake Wylie, SC.
