Michel Savoie, 66, of Lake Wylie, SC, passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at Carolinas Medical Center, Charlotte, NC.

Funeral Mass will be 12 noon Thursday, May 31, 2018 at All Saints Catholic Church, 530 Highway 274, Lake Wylie, SC.  Interment will be in the River Hills Community Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 Wednesday at M. L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home, 4820 Charlotte Highway, Lake Wylie, SC.

Mr. Savoie was born February 4, 1952 in Detroit, MI to the late Jacques and Pauline Lauzon Savoie.  He was a very successful entrepreneur in the plastic injection mold business.  He started a company named PTI in Clinton Township Michigan in 1984 then moved to the Charlotte area where he and a partner opened Gentry Plastics which later relocated to Gastonia, NC.  He was also a member of the River Hills Country Club in Lake Wylie, SC

 Survivors are his daughter Alexis Savoie of Charlotte, NC; sons Christopher Savoie (Jennifer) of Clover, SC, Jamison Savoie of Lake Wylie, SC; brothers Pierre Savoie & Richard Savoie, granddaughters Michele Savoie, Skye Savoie, Arianna O’Rourke, and grandsons Jacob Savoie.
