Neil Colello age 74 of Lake Wylie, SC went to his Heavenly home and joined his grandson Lucas on August 27, 2019 surrounded by his loving family.

Funeral service will be 5:00 pm Saturday, August 31, 2019 at M. L. Ford & Sons, 4820 Charlotte Hwy., Lake Wylie, SC 29710.  The family will receive friends following the service.  

Neil was born April 13, 1945 in Harlem, NY to the late Liberato and Josephine Colello. He graduated from Benjamin Franklin High School in 1962 and is a retired NYPD officer. He was known for his witty sense of humor, his ability to make everyone around him laugh, and loved being surrounded by his family.

He is survived by his wife Catharine Monahan Colello, son Joseph Colello and his wife Toni, daughters Diana Cary and her husband Phil, Jenna Brown and her husband Derek, grandchildren Taylor Ann Cary, Salvatore Colello, Nicolas Colello, Landon Brown and great grandson Carson Cary.
