Newton Blair “June” Dulin, Jr., Age 95, of Bowling Green, SC passed away Thursday, May 3, 2018 at home.
Funeral Service will be 11:00 am Monday, May 7, 2018 at Bowling Green Presbyterian Church with Lisa Johnson officiating. Interment will be in the Church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 6:00 pm Sunday at M L Ford & Sons, 209 N. Main St., Clover, SC.
Mr. Dulin was born September 5, 1922 in Bowling Green, SC to the late Newton Blair Dulin, Sr. and Katherine Davis Dulin. He was the oldest, active lifelong member and Deacon of Bowling Green Presbyterian Church. He was a lifelong farmer and continued to run the Dulin Family Farm established in the early 1900’s.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 67 years, Lillian Howell Dulin, daughters, Barbara Faye Cloaninger and Myra “Ticker” Spurrier, granddaughter, Jan Spurrier, brothers, Tom Dulin, Buck Dulin, and Bill Dulin, sisters, Barbara Thornburg, Vashti Clapp, Jean Long, and Margaret Jackson.
Survivors are his daughter Jeannie D. Reiss of York, SC; son Michael Howell Dulin (Rita) of Bowling Green, SC; son-in-law Mack W. Spurrier, Sr. of Bowling Green, SC; sister Mary D. Jackson of Gastonia, NC; grandchildren Tommy W. McCall, Jr. (Suzanne), Mack W. Spurrier, Jr. (Tracy), Wesley B. Spurrier (Brantlee), Terri S. Decker (Harry), and Jason Reiss (Aimee); great grandchildren Stewart McCall, Ben McCall, Tara Gedelman, Jan Barnhill, Charlotte Spurrier, Tyler Reiss, Vincent Reiss, Cecelia Reiss, and Elena Reiss; great great granddaughter Jenna Barnhill.
