Elijah Odell Bolin, age 87 of Clover, died Thursday, February 22, 2018. He was born August 24, 1930, to the late Walter R. and Ella Wray Bolin, in Cleveland County, North Carolina.
Odell is survived by his wife of 63 years, Betty Mitchell Bolin; his son, Gerald Bolin, and wife Gina of Gastonia; his daughter, Kathy Wine, and husband John, of Lake Wylie; and his granddaughters Finley and Madison Wine. He is also survived by his sister, Faye Bryant.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Walter Eugene Bolin and his sisters, Zula Parham, Mattie Belle Huffstetler, Ellen Timmons, Ruth Bolin, Irene Davidson, Mary Essie Wallace and Nina Porter.
The funeral service will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday, February 25, 2018, at St. Paul United Methodist Church with Rev. Dr. Barry Allen officiating. Interment will be in the St. Paul United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday, February 24, 2018, at M. L. Ford and Sons Funeral Home, 209 N. Main Street, Clover, SC.
