Richard Pierce Morgan, 71, of Lake Wylie, SC passed peacefully on January 24th at home surrounded by his family. Mr. Morgan was born June 8th, 1947 in Atlanta, GA.  Richard loved jazz, the great outdoors, and sports cars.  He was a treasured friend, beloved neighbor, and a loving heart. 

Richard is preceded in death by William G. Morgan, Jr. (father) and Sarah Todd Morgan (mother), and William G. “Bill” Morgan III (brother.) Survivors include a niece Michelle Transou (Ray) of Lake Wylie, a nephew, Bill Morgan (Amanda) of Trinity, NC, and a beloved sister-in-law, Dorris Lee Morgan also of Lake Wylie.

The family will hold a private memorial in February.  Richard’s wish for his friends is to toast him with a beautiful view, a fine cigar, or the next time you are humbled in nature.
