Stephanie was born on January 23, 1933, in Toronto, Canada, to Paul and Katherine Miluck. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Oscar Hatashita, and her dear cousins Caroline Carswell and Sue Taraschuk, all of Toronto.

She is survived by her sister Patricia Hatashita of Toronto; her loving husband of 58 years,  “Gerry” (Orychiwsky) Orlick;  son Steven and daughter-in-law Robin, parents of Stephanie’s beloved grandson Coleman, of Columbia, S.C.; son Greg and daughter-in-law Sonya , of Richmond, Virginia, and many friends and relatives in the United States, Canada and Ukraine.

Stephanie was a mortgage processor for Consolidated Building Corp. in Toronto and after her marriage in 1961 for the Royal Trust Company in Montreal. After the birth of their two sons the family moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, when Gerry was promoted to his company’s Headquarters. In 1988 they moved to Lake Wylie, S.C. and have lived there to the present, except for three years, 1993-1996, when Gerry worked, and Stephanie joined him, in Kyiv, Ukraine.

A gifted cook, she loved to host parties for many dear friends and neighbors. In addition, she enjoyed baking; her cookies and pies were enjoyed and envied by many.

In her youth Stephanie was an active member of the Ukrainian National Youth Federation of Canada in Sudbury, Toronto and Montreal. While in Ukraine she was very involved in the commitment of the International Women’s Club to support the many orphanages in the newly independent country. More recently she was a member of the River Hills Women’s Club of Lake Wylie.

The family wishes to express their deep gratitude to the dedicated caregivers at White Oak Manor of Rock Hill, for their wonderful care and assistance given to Stephanie and the family.
