Vicki Jean Humphries Holbrook, 64, passed away on January 13, 2020 at Levine & Dickson Hospice House at Aldersgate in Charlotte, NC.

A celebration of the life will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 5338 Nations Ford Road, Charlotte, NC 28217. The family will receive friends 1 hour before the service at the Church. A private graveside burial will be held at a later time.

Mrs. Holbrook was born on January 27, 1955 in Boiling Springs, NC, the daughter of the late Leonard Dwight and Jean Ann Humphries.

Vicki was a devoted and loving wife and the mother of two wonderful daughters. She moved to Charlotte during her youth where she met her husband Michael Holbrook at the young age of 17. They were happily married for 44 years. Vicki enjoyed vacationing, visiting, and spending time with her husband, children, grandson, friends, and family. She was a compassionate and warm-hearted woman who loved animals, country music, dancing, boating on Lake Wylie, and enjoyed writing in her younger years.

Vicki is survived by her husband Michael Holbrook; daughters Kayce and Jessie; sons-in-law Daniel Goodman and Michael Green; brother Mark Humphries and his wife Sheila; and one grandson Brody Goodman who all loved her dearly. She was proceeded in death by her father Leonard Humphries and her mother Jean Whitaker Humphries.
