After a second battle with cancer, Michael Anthony Miller, 49, of Hartsville, SC passed away Friday April 26, 2024 at McLeod Hospice in Florence, SC.

Mr. Miller was born on July 8, 1974 in Anderson, SC to Pamela B. Miller Stanton and the late James Michael Miller.  He graduated from Socastee High School, attended Horry-Georgetown Tech where he studied turf management.  Growing up at the beach fueled his love of the outdoors and desire for a career in landscaping.  He loved watching his Clemson Tigers and Dallas Cowboys.

Mr. Miller was preceded in death by his father, grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Newton Brown (Cynthia), and his step-father, David Glen Stanton (Pamela).

Survivors are his daughters, Hylah Miller of York, SC, Breonah Miller of Blacksburg, SC, son, Wyatt Miller of Blacksburg, SC, mother, Pamela Stanton of Clover, SC, aunt Cynthia Bedenbaugh (Mike) of Clover, SC, cousins Hance Griffin of Myrtle Beach, SC, Jaxon Griffin of Clover, SC, and Micaela Griffin of Clover, SC and the love of his life Teresa Sayre of Hartsville, SC.

A private memorial service will be held for family and close friends.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to McLeod Hospice, 555 E. Cheves Street, Florence, SC  29506.
