Miss Ashley Elizabeth Matthews, 33, of Lake Wylie, SC, passed away Thursday, February 2, 2023 at home. She is now surrounded in heaven with her PaPa and other maternal/paternal grandparents by her side.

Ashley was born March 27, 1989 in Richmond, VA to Michael Ray Matthews and Reba Fay Clowers Edwards. She spent her youth in Chesterfield County attending L.C. Byrd High School, moving to Kansas for several years and eventually settling in SC. 

Survivors are her mother Reba C. Edwards and step-father Bryan Edwards; father Michael Ray Matthews; sister Danielle Nicole Matthews and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins who loved her dearly.
