Mrs. Barbara Kester Corson, 97, of Clover, South Carolina, passed away Monday, December 18, 2023, at the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House, Rock Hill, South Carolina.

Mrs. Corson was born July 15, 1926, in Akron, OH, to the late Allen James Kester and Martha Drake Kester.  She was preceded in death by her husband Willian E. Corson.

She is survived by her daughter, Marcia L. Wray (Bobby), Clover, SC; her son, Philip J. Corson (Laurie), Clover, SC; her grandchildren, Brian Boling (Cherye), Clover, SC, Scott Boling (Amy), Clover, SC, Michele Dyer (Duane), Lake Wylie, SC, Shawn Brooks (Christina), York, SC, Zach Brooks, Clover, SC, Anna Corson, Clover, SC, and Alex Corson, Clover, SC; eight great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 29, 2023, at the Clover Presbyterian Church, 202 Kings Mountain Street, Clover, SC, with the Rev. John Muse officiating.  The family will receive friends following the service in the Church Fellowship Hall.  Interment will be in Lakeview Memory Gardens, York, SC, at a later date.
