Mrs. Beverly Ann Korb Mallams, 85, of Lake Wylie, SC, passed away Friday, December 13, 2024 at home.
Services will be held at a later time.
Mrs. Mallams was born January 16, 1939 in Lawrence, KS to the late Edward and Frances Pearson Korb.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Jane Ellen Pearce, and granddaughter Ashlyn Nicole Green.
Survivors are her husband of 67 years, Thomas Patrick Mallams; son Tim Mallams (Kelly) of Lake Wylie, SC; daughter Julie Green (Andrew) of Olathe, KS; nephew Mike Pearce (Kathy) of Lawrence, KS; grandchildren Tyler Mallams (Bayley), Tanner Mallams (Nichole), Jordyn Green, and Carson Green (Halee); and great grandchildren Hayden Mallams and Kinsley Mallams.
After beginning her career as a bank teller, she became a homemaker and was actively involved with her children’s activities in Emporia, KS including the Boy Scouts of America, Girl Scouts, band boosters and a housemother for the Sigma Tau Gamma fraternity at Emporia State University. She was one of the first female’s to be invited as a district representative for the Boy Scouts to the Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico. After moving to Texas in 1987, she became actively involved with the Davis Methodist Church in North Richland Hills and worked part time as a floral arranger and photography assistant.
